Transportation:
Ferry: The Staten Island Ferry offers you free 25-minute travels through Manhattan and Staten Island.

Airports: In New York, there are 3 airports: the John F. Kennedy International Airport, the LaGuardia Airport and Newark International Airport.

If you wish to get around Manhattans, the subway is definitely the best choice, available 24 hours a day. The trains 1,2,3,9, A and C will take you to the west side of Manhattan and the trains F, N and R take you west to east from Midtown to Downtown. If you take train E, your journey will end at the World Trade Center. To access the subway you’ll need a Metro card that allows you to use a bus also, within 2 hours.
You may purchase the one-day Fun Pass in shops, hotels and certain subway stations.

Bus: To travel across New York, cross-town buses can take you from East to West side, to Houston and Broadway.

Railway: The Long Island Railroad, the Amtrak and the New Jersey Transit trains, all stop on 7th Avenue, between 31st and 33rd Streets. This is where is located the Pennsylvania Station. The Grand Central Terminal serves Connecticut and suburban New York trains.
